Here’s the new Tiger spot that will air tonight during the Masters. Dad questioning son before he returns to golf. Somber, serious, somewhat edgy. Wonder how it’ll be received. Props to Nike for not sweeping this under the rug.
Sure feels different feel than previous Tiger ads like this one:

Akon’s official video for I’m So Paid isn’t funny. Unless you watch it after you watch the I’m on a Boat video. Then it’s hilarious. Wearing suits on the deck of a boat? check. Wide angle yacht shots? check. Slow-mo helicoptor shots? check. Play the top one, then start the bottom one after 25 seconds. With your flippy floppies.
Yeah this came out awhile ago. But the awesomeness lingers. Why are good music videos so hard to come by these days? don’t they get it, I’m only going to watch your music video if it’s good. The days of TRL forcing it down my throat are dead, so if it aint good, don’t bother making it! Tangent: Serial terrible music video maker Baby Williams (aka Birdman, insert pigeon noise here) once brought $750k in cash to a music video shoot because he didn’t know they use prop bills. Really?
